Socket assemblies can be removed from base blocks easily and once removed, the flow of gas to that line stops automatically. Thus, the flow of gas to other medical gas outlets does not need to be stopped. This design facilitates ease of maintenance of medical gas outlets.

In 1957, as a pioneer in Japan, AWSS began constructing medical gas pipeline distribution systems. Our user friendly products have received high praise from hospitals throughout Japan. Currently, production of medical gas outlets exceeds 50,000 units per year.

Everything from the procurement of raw materials to processing, assembly, inspection and packaging are carried out at our own factory as one integrated production system. All finished products are subjected to inspection.

By employing risk analysis as set forth in International Standard ISO 13485, AWSS have taken risk into account in their design, manufacturing and sales.

5. Reliability backed by a variety of tests.
Each probe’s reliability is confirmed by various testing methods according to International Standard ISO 9170-1:2008. These tests include a durability test consisting of inserting and removing the probe 20,000 times and pressure resistant strength test.

6. CE mark acquired from the certifying body TÜV SÜD.
The internationally recognized certification body TÜV SÜD has certified AWSS medical gas outlets to bear the CE mark, in accordance with applicable European Directives.
